I work for the DoD and this blog rocks! This is my new favorite guilty pleasure to indulge in when I’m supposed to be doing boring work for Uncle Sam. Our nation is in the middle fo several Wars. Soldiers and Marines are dying every day, but WHO CARES? I’d much rather fool around on this site than help our stupid military.

Hi Jeff, it’s your BEST DC Blog Moderator here again. Anyone can be nominated for a week’s contest. All it takes is someone submitting a blog’s name as a nominee Saturday through Monday in the comments or as an email (bestdcblog at yahoo dot com) for that week’s contest.
Usually, we only discuss and vote on the BEST of the BEST. Next week’s contest is BEST Blog written by a FEMALE. This week, we decided to add a special twist:::::WORST DC Blog. The twist seems to have confused a lot of people and we now realize that several nominations that were intended BEST DC Blog contest ended up on the WORST DC Blog contest because people did not read before they nominated. We’ll try to make the process easier to understand in the future.
